Arare Japanese Rice Crackers - Yum

Mmm... so I just found out what these tasty snacks are called. :)

I discovered these snacks many years ago at a local asian grocery store, and eversince then I've made it a point to put a bag of them in the cart whenever we stop by. All this time I hadn't even bothered to find out exactly what they are. Now I finally know.

Turns out that they are Japanese rice crackers called "Arare". They come in many different flavors. Some are spicy and some even have seaweed wrapped around them. The spicy ones are good, but I like variety, so I always get the mix bag.

The pieces are a little hard though, but I've been hooked eversince my first taste.

In fact, I'm eating some even now. :) ::crunch crunch::
